Chicago West Suburban Real Estate...

My wife Lisa and I moved to Chicago's western suburbs in 1988, drawn by the charm of the many small towns, plentiful real estate, great schools and cozy neighborhoods. 

This wonderful area also offers a speedy metro service to downtown Chicago and convenience to O'Hare & Midway airports.

We have enjoyed the planned activities of the western suburbs like "Ribfest", "Eye's to the Sky", "Swedish Days" and "Last Fling", but also (maybe especially) our spontaneous visits to the terrific local Libraries and the walks/rides along the beautiful Illinois Prairie Path.

In 1977, I would visit friends "way out" in Naperville, it was a bustling little town of about 42,000 residents and a lot of open real estate. When we moved here it was a busy city of about 80,000 residents. Today, Naperville has more than 130,000 residents and is expected to grow to more than 160,000.

Why do people relocate to the western suburbs? 

Why do people decide to make Chicago's Western Suburbs their permanent home?

Probably for many of the same reasons that my family has.
